Ignore the competition

If you have a different mindset, you will have a different outcome – Jack Ma

Most business coaches and mentors will ask you about your competitors. Who are they? What’s their market share? What services do they provide?

Who cares?! Stop wasting your time.

Forget the competitors and focus on you.

Focus on your delivery of service. Improve your product. Polish your sales skills. Optimise your advertising campaign. Work on your delivery. Sharpen you image. Broaden your network. Develop your skill set. Increase your productivity.

Do these things and your business will grow regardless of what your competitors are doing.

Next, focus on your client.

Who is your ideal client? What do they want? How do they want it delivered? When do they want it? How much are they willing to pay?

By incorporating the answers to the above questions you can further enhance your service, increase demand and command a higher price.

Ingrain a singular focus on perfecting your service and you’ll bury the competition without ever having acknowledged them.

The problem with competition is that it takes away the requirement to set your own path, to invent your own method, to find a new way – Seth Godin

  1. Loved it! Thanks for the encouragement. I’d like to about talk improving yourself. Yes, because in the end, that’s what it actually matters. Improve yourself so much that you can be untouchable, unstoppable. Keep grinding, keep hustling, and you will shine. I’d also like to say, Ignore the competition but learn from your competitors. Learn what strategies they are using etc. have a network with them but never get into a comparison with them. Right? Do you agree?
